On 7th August National Handloom Day was celebrated and logo of Upcoming Bollywood Movie “Sui Dhaaga” (Which Means Needle and Thread) was Launched. This Movie will be first of its kind to promote Indian Handloom.

Crafts that are a hallmark of India’s culture deserve pro-active certification, which will not only expand their outreach but also help recognize craftsmanship.

There Were a campaign of Swadeshi(Made in Country) in 1905 which was started to  stressed the resurgence of domestic entrepreneurship. this Movement has Boosted up Small Entrepreneurs for doing Great in Swedeshi Handloom.

These Logo were created in different states through traditional and expert Embroideredd handmade artists from Kashmir, Orissa, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Assam.

This film “Sui Dhaga” tells the story of the strong influence of entrepreneurship and self-reliance in Handloom Art.

Varun Dhawan is a tailor in this film, while Anushka is doing a work on the role of embroidered. The characters of these two are representing the Indian artisans on the big screen which are famous all over the world.

Producer Manish Sharma says “Our film ‘Sui Thaaga’ is a salute to entrepreneurs and self-reliant workforce like artisans, weavers and grassroots contributors, who are increasing the indigenous arts and crafts industries of India. Therefore, we have decided to launch this campaign on a dedicated day (National Handloom Day) to the skilled entrepreneurs of our country. “

The Director Manish Sharma( National Award Winner for film “Dam Lga k haiyasha”) Said that this Movie tis Totaly Dedicated to Skilled Small Entrepreneur of Handloom and handicraft in India. These Entrepreneurs are purely showing the true art of India to the world. And We have tried to show the dedication and Art to the world with our movie.
